 Gerry

As one of the the oldest members of the group the others all feel sorry for Gerry. He is an original member of Killer Entertainments and has been both murdered and the murderer. Being a debt collector by trade he falls into the “nasty” roles quite easily but for some reason also gets cast as the stupid one, a role which really requires acting on his part!

Karen

Karen has been acting for more years than she cares to remember and actually met her husband Gerry (above) on the stage. It was his dress and high heels that swung it!

Karen invariably takes on the role of detective and appears in various guises; Inspector Foot of the Yard, Jessica Dexter - the famous author and criminologist, or Mother Nature the Nun with a nose for murder!

Sandra

Sandra is a 47 year old married mum of two

and has been fooling around with this bunch of

murderers for over 20 years now. In fact, it has turned her to drink and she now regularly plays the alcoholic in most plays - without much acting involved!!!

If she’s not playing a drunk then her parts normally include someone who is mad or stupid which does tend to rub off a little. She loves getting to really know her characters and finds herself turning into them and then driving the rest of the cast potty by remaining that way permanently. The hardest part about performing for Sandra - is not to giggle. We all know and work so well with each other that the smallest thing can start us off! Its great fun. Sandra says “Murder Mysteries rely on good team work and this is a fantastic team of really good and talented friends and I love it!!”

Ronnie

Ronnie has been with Killer Entertainments from the beginning (or CCADS as it was back then), and  has played a variety of characters ranging from a mad scientist to a lecherous PE teacher to a play-boy drug-dealing son of a mafia boss! He has also been responsible for writing and developing Killer Entertainments first solely in-house murder mystery play, Murder on the Med.

Louise

Louise is one of the newer members of the group, but already been a part of several productions playing the roles of somewhat bitchy women each time (is someone trying to tell her something!) She is also member of a couple of Amateur Theatre Companies where she plays various different roles.

Graham

Graham joins Killer for productions when he can and is a very experienced cast member. Lots of panto's under his belt have encouraged him to interact with the audience at every chance!

Tom

Tom has played various roles during his time with Killer Entertainments, from the Mafia lawyer to the ruthless headmaster. He has mostly retired from the stage now, but occasionally joins us when time permits.

Wendy

Wendy really enjoys the different characters she gets to play with Killer Entertainments from dippy born-to-the-manor Daphnia to the rather nasty Susan Hayter. It's lovely to dress up for some of the parts be it in a gown, short skirt and leggings, or a wedding dress. Her only wish that would make the Mafia Wedding evening perfect, would be for more space in the wedding dress bodice so she can enjoy the food provide for the cast - especially some of the puddings!!

David

David is a long standing member of Killer Entertainments and has enjoyed the challenges of many roles.

Like his brother Graham below, who encouraged him to join CCADS, he has been acting for as long as he can remember!

 Joyce

Joyce is our lady of many talents. When not acting, she is making the costumes and often the props! She brings loads of experience to Killer with the many roles that she has undertaken in her acting career.

Stella

Stella has only recently joined Killer, but has been involved in theatre productions since school, playing a range of roles from Rose Maybud in Ruddigore to StJohn Rivers in Jane Eyre.  She is delighted to be back and mixed up in productions again, whether on the technical side or acting, and is looking forward to a getting stuck in with whatever the director wants to throw her way!

Steve

Steve like Stella has also only recently joined the group and likewise has been treading the boards since his youth; in fact it probably all started through a talent competition at Butlins in the early 60’s!  His more recent involvement in productions has demonstrated that the audiences appear to still appreciate his efforts.  While the roles he has so far delivered through Killer, have been very different, the costume, oddly, has remained the same.  He is looking forward to trying out more roles and if possible a change of attire.

Mat

Mat has much experience working behind the scenes but occasionally can be persuaded to get in front of an audience!

You know you love it really Mat!

Selina

Selina has acted with Killer Entertainments from it's inception but sadly family commitments have meant that she has now moved away and will be sadly missed. She has given us some entertaining moments over the years. She'll know what we mean!
